Ork 'Grimskull' MKII

Post  R.I.K on Thu Oct 20, 2011 1:54 am

Due to recent circumstances that have not only hindered Ork's busy schedule of starting fights, eating and getting rat-arsed but have extinguished the life of his beloved pet grot and crew mascot, Squidge. May he still rest in peace/pieces. I have decided to rebuild a bigger, badder, tougher, stronger and more cybork Ork.

Here is the start of him, using a plastic nob body with the nob head from the Biker kit. The arm is one of the arms from the AOBR nobs (The one you got with WD). Using the body I decided to make him ‘bigger’ as he is a lot stronger and tougher than the average ork (Nearly on par with a Nob profile). His left arm will be a ‘bionik’ power klaw using the big shoota arm from the Killa Kan kit, just with the gun cut off... obviously.
Here he is:

As far as rank goes I’d say Grimskull is happily among the Skar Boyz if he were in a WAAAGH! Not just because of his ferocious strength but also... He got blew up by a grenade and was in pieces so naturally that would give him a lot of scars.
Thanks for viewing, C&C appreciated, look forward to more coming updates.

Update

Post  R.I.K on Fri Oct 21, 2011 12:53 am

Wow, tough crowd...

Here’s an update. I’ve started adding to him now, Gsing over the crevices, filling in the muscles, added the first stage of the hair squig, added the cybork arm and jaw and the choppa hand. I’ll be adding a few more scars, shoulder plates, a plate for the cybork arm likely and... I guess I’ll see how it goes later tonight when I work on him some more.
Enjoy:

C&C appreciated, thanks for viewing.

Final WIP update, I think he is ready to be based, primed and painted ready for the week after this Sunday. Ready and set to exact his revenge on a treacherous priest with a hefty choppa.
Here’s the finished WIP result:

Thanks for viewing, I hope you enjoyed, C&C appreciated and I hope you look forward to a lick of paint.

Finished

Post  R.I.K on Sat Nov 05, 2011 1:40 am

Finally I got some pictures up of the figure painted. I finished it two days ago but I spent yesterday touching him up, notably his trousers and those awkward grey lines. However before I knew it the weather got too dark despite being so early in the year and no matter where I snapped a picture it came out dark. So I spent today trying to find the sweet spot in the house and instead decided to take them outside.
Not the best pictures I’m afraid but here:

I hope you enjoyed.
