Team Name / Nicknames

Anybody think the Kill-Team should have a codename? I know we were referred to as "Alpha" in the last mission, but I was reading a story today where the kill teams were called things like Scimitar and Talon and that seemed a bit more characterful. Any ideas? Am I being silly?

The Squad Members also had nicknames for each other, which may develop over time (and to be honest seemed to be a ripoff of Crysis), but it could be something else interesting to look at.

Memnon could be "Skullfondler" for example

Think we should get final say over what the rest of the squad call our dudes, not a big fan of 'Skullfondler' ( Memnon would probably kill you far saying that) but I have some suggestions...

Cristus - Straight Arrow Cristus
Haakon - The Pup Or Haakon Thunder Thrower (reference to his grenade antics)
Aslan - The Black Prince
Errata - Thw Weather man (blood Rain)
Luthor - The Zealot
Memnon - Deamon Slayer, skull taker, Ghost of Sotha... all round nice guy
Jorvick - Old Jorvick or Grandfather Boomstick!

As for the squad names?

Redemption (Reference to Novis' demise)

So Skullfondler it is then?

Last thing I want is to force anyone into having a nickname they hate of course, I'm thinking of these more as call signs that would be used rather than slurs lol.

I actually don't mind Straight Arrow, especially not if it was shortened to "Arrow" as it also ties in nicely with him being a Tactical Marine. I'll think on it.

I think one word callsigns work better too, as they should be ones we could use in combat. My suggestions would be things like:

Aslan - "Prince" or maybe "Leafblower" lol
Luthor - "Zealot" or "Rage", or perhaps "Doc" (short for Doctor Angry)
Haakon - "Pup" or maybe "Comet" due to his jump pack antics.
Errata - "Rain" or "Overkill" (Blood rain and constant use of full power respectively)
Jorvick - "Veteran" or "Finder" (Pathfinder)
Memnon - "Ghost" or "Reaper" maybe (because of Ghost of Sotha or being a Scythe respectively)

Just some of my ideas folks, obviously they are yours to adopt lol

I like the idea of a squad name and nicknames, kind of brings character to the squad and shows a little camaraderie among the team mates.

Haakon - (The) Pup/Yoof/Thunder (Claw)
Aslan - (The Dark) Prince
Errata - Fury/Blood/Maverick
Luthor - Zealot (Dick)
Memnon – Scythe/Skull (Taker)/Ghost/Reaper/Grim
Jorvick - Alpha (Wolf)

As for a name for the Kill Team I haven’t a clue.
